Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end, played for 17 seasons in the National Football League. Considered one of America's best tight ends of all time and is the holder of an NFL record for the most receiving yards among all tight ends. He is as the third-highest player in terms of number of receptions.
Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports Studio analyst. Gonzalez is associated with FOX NFL KICKOFF since the last year, hosts the show's host. The show airs on Sunday, at 11:00 AM ET before FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez's assertion that he would retire from the NFL following the year 2013 wasn't true. The 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez signed with Falcons an agreement for two years worth $14 million. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez had his final season as the leader of the NFL's active players in receiving yards.
